Welcome to my website!  I'm excited to announce that my first novel, Pen Pal Postcards: Voices from the Past, launched on Amazon November 1, 2025.  It was a fun project, and you can get a sneak peek at some of the postcards and make a purchase by clicking on the New Book link.

The story is based upon approximately 250 vintage postcards we inherited from a family friend.  A lot of them are beautiful four-color scenes from major European cities.  A young Greek man wrote them to a slightly older woman who lived in Baltimore, Maryland.  Their communication spanned five years, from 1907-1912.  Researching each of these real people was interesting and transforming. 

As a resident artist at the Smithfield Arts Center@319, I'm enjoying meeting people from around the area, the state, the country, and the world!  Many people visit the historic town, so my studio space is a great place to share my art and talk art with visitors.  I've started teaching workshops in what is called "paper-painting," using acrylic paints, colorful papers, and other materials to create works of art.
